Air cargo packaging is very strict, so in the air freight, the packaging of the goods must strictly implement the relevant regulations of air transportation, so that the packaged goods can safely arrive at the designated place.
General provisions for the packaging of goods
1. The packaging of the goods should be strong and intact, which can prevent the packaging from breaking, leakage and loss during transportation; Prevent damage or deterioration of goods caused by stacking, friction, shock or changes in air pressure and temperature; Prevent injury to operators or contamination of aircraft, ground equipment and other items.
2. The advance materials (such as wood chips and paper scraps) in the package cannot be leaked. Except for goods packed in paper bags (such as documents, materials, etc.), consigned goods should be bundled with packaging belts. It is strictly forbidden to use straw bags to pack or tie goods with straw ropes.
3. In addition to being suitable for the nature, condition and weight of the goods, the packaging should also be convenient for handling, loading and unloading and stacking; The outer surface of the package must not have protruding nails, hooks, thorns, etc.; The packaging should be neat, dry, and free of odors and oil stains.
4. The packing tape used to bundle the goods shall be able to bear the full weight of the goods and ensure that the goods will not be disconnected when lifted.
5. If the packaging of the goods does not comply with the relevant provisions in this manual, the shipper shall be required to improve or repack them before accepting them for shipment.
